Re: Power steering low and high lines
if the line moves while driving over time the hard line will rub a hole in the rubber hose. you can get some more hose, cut it open like a hot dog bun, put it over the hose and zip tie it on there, this way its rubbing the insulator hose you installed not the important one.

Chafing. Looks like they zap-strapped the two lines together. i'd put some plastic loom on the rubber line, just like the one next to it. Or if you have some larger hose, cut a small piece, cut it open to make it "split" and put over the hose in question.

Now that is a much better description. LOL

seemed like the best way to paint a picture lol
Re: Power steering low and high lines
I'm actually talking about where the 2 hard lines in your pictures touch, but solve it the same way...

Re: Power steering low and high lines
K thanks guys will fix the hard lines touching and the rubber one. Would plastic loom work fine for both or even a piece of a garden hose? Does the stock lines also touch like that?

Yes, those will work. Not sure if garden hose is flammable, so you may want to look at that before using it.

They shouldn't. If they did, there probably would have been a recall on it. LOL
