Now I've been running 225/55/17s for years now and I love them but im bout to get some new tires and im thinking of going a bit wider.
A lot of people tell me 225/55/17s are a good look and I know a lot of you on here actually run 235/50/17s (for you who have 17s) which is the perfect size without having any problems.
I like how 225/55 snuggly fits my car without any rubbing giving it a perfect stance but my car is asking for any more grip that it can get. 50 is slightly shorter than 55 whereas you probably couldn't tell the difference but still I hate the thought of going any shorter but ill sacrifice some height for a lil bit more wider tire.
Now I've seen 245/55/17s available for my car on Tirerack.com but im not sure if it'll fit my car without rubbing (this is the size I really want and tirerack actually says it'll fit my car)
Funny thing is that I have 245/35/20s on my LS and they look nice with the acception of hitting the fender(only during parking though).
With that being said, im curious if 245/55/17s would rub and or 245/50/17s? If they do rub im totally down for 235/50/17s. Also, How well will these 235/50/17s fit?
Thanks
