Yes.

Recall #09047: Some of these vehicles have a condition in which drops of engine oil may be deposited on the exhaust manifold through hard braking.
Recall #15757: Oil leaks onto a hot engine manifold, which typically happens after “hard braking”.Engine oil that drips onto the hot surface of the exhaust manifold may result in a fire.

And apparently this is the 3rd recall on this issue. I wonder what the first fix was.

The root cause is GM not fixing the issue right the first time.

I vote re-gasket the entire engine. Then my oil pan and rear cover can get fixed XD.

Small engine fires yes, the fires where the entire car goes up in flames is the fuel rail orings.

Why don't we merge this thread with the 50 other threads about this same issue?
