Most forums I'm on that encourage people to make an intro post have a separate forum to do so in. It keeps the general forums cleaner and keeps the newbs in one place at first, plus shows new comers what's expected in a newb post and what happens if you act like a tool by example. I dunno, I really like the newb section on my local street racing forum, it's a lot of fun to welcome/harass the new folk.

    Just an idea.

I dunno but that seems like a good idea and you are correct, several of the other forums I go to have an introduction area. Maybe we can make this happen.

1hr 5min from suggestion to creation, now if that doesnt show you we listen to the community voice, I dont know what does.

In fact it was done quicker than that, but using the post time stamps thats still pretty darn quick response. If we can accommodate the idea or suggestion we move I tell ya.
