Well its not that I feel one way or another whether it be Ford, Dodge, Chevrolet or whatever. I truly dont care that much for Ford products but thats me and opinions about makes and models are as fierce and polarized probably about as much as which oil you should use. The point is that this is a Grand Prix site that covers Grand Prixs, Regals, Monte Carlos, Park Avenues and 3800 powered vehicles in general. If we allowed other vehicles in such as Trucks and such then it would quickly dilute the mission, vision and purpose of this site.
There is a part of me that would very much like to open this up to other vehicles, perhaps the more popular ones to start in the Truck and Car categories simply because it would bring more traffic, more ideas, more information and How Tos here, but my main focus and mission is to further the Grand Prix and 3800 community. While the Grand Prix and the 3800 are no longer in production, it doesnt mean we cant continue to generate excitement and enthusiasm for the platforms.
I personally like knowing as many of you as I do and that we share this thing in common. It would be nice to have other platforms here as I mentioned above, but I wont do so at the sacrifice of that main mission, purpose and vision this site was started for. I post on a computer site that has over 600,000 members and 69,000 active members and I cannot begin to imagine trying to keep track of all they do and all they cover there. I would certainly like to see that many people here, but can you imagine the logistics in that?
