I'm glad to see I'm not the only spelling bee champ on here.
To your second point, a locked thread should still show up in a search; only the ability to comment is limited.

This is really what I was going for. this way they would hopefully research their problem then once they have a intelligent question they would be able to word it in an appropriate way so that we could answer it easier instead of being like how the hell does that relate to the above post. Like I said we don't necessarily have to change anything it is just an idea. And I am the spelling champ. I'm flat out terrible at it. thank god for spell check
