Can we get a Private Forum section page?

Good luck trying to get this through, I agree 100% but don't believe that it will be accepted or even a second look taken. For this reason only; it is supposed to be a "child friendly environment" but I see no children here, and don't see anyone who has the guts to say things out loud where people can see them and ask why. Starting hate the censorship more and more.

Lets lay some groundwork or possible routes we can go with this, becuase i would love to see this happen, frankly i spend a few minutes on this site and just click "new posts" and then im done on this site after looking at a few of them. Then i go to clubgp and there is some great stuff in there, as long as you skip over the real arrogant and senseless posts.

1. For starters, i like the idea of donating say $10 and those people are able to see this private section of the forum. Not only would you make $300-500+ doing this, it would ensure that the users are old enough to donate money to a site, they are old enough or responsible enough for this content.

2. You could also make the section unlockable by requesting access from one of the administrators, just like the DHP forums. This would make the section totally optional for people and can even be kept more private, eliminating people complaining of the content that they don't wish to see.

3. You could go by the members status or posts to gain access to this part of the forum. Members with over 500 posts without being banned from the site want to keep it that way, giving them some room to breathe would be a nice reward.

This is a car enthusiast site, come on!!! I just want to be able to vent a little or see some boobies every now and then when Im on a site that the guy/girl ratio is at 100 to 1.

You on right on brother, You're exactly on the same page i'm on. I'm glad i'm not the only one that feels the same. We can have some fun too. Supposedly the Lounge is suppose to be soooo lax, come on its not in the least. Its got the same restictions as everywhere else here. The Other Topics forum being ClubGP, TBSS, etc are fun. You meet and get to joke around with some cool people. I guess everyone that hangs out in those sections are bad people with no morals. I'm one of them too I guess. Some people are just flat out boring and by the book, others are not.

#1) I agree and you make some good points. The only bad I see in this is that some members may not or can even donate, the economy is the crapper so some of this is understandable. I hate to loose potential members because of this. But as always, i'm more than happy to donate so this shouldn't be a problem on my end. If we end up doing donations for this, i'm still in.

#2) Exactly what i've been saying all along. To keep the whiners, cry babies, and kids (since so many come here supposedly) out of there. Keep it private, the only way to be apart of this is to contact an Admin. Simple as that. I agree 100%

#3) Breathing room would be nice.

Even most of the women here know how guys are. I have yet to piss off any women on this site or any other board. And the couple of women here I joke around with on the forums know i'm not a bad apple and i'm sure they'd have nothing bad to say about me. I'm not hard to get along with at all.

Men or Women would be welcome to this section, sign up if you choose.

You're on the same page as me man. Supposedly this is the Barney homepage too according to some people, its not lets get real here. Yeah there maybe a kid or two that comes on here, no very many I bet. And the private forum would solve all of that, you'd still have have your "FAMILY" environment, and a Free for All board thats private. Thats all there is to it.

Well there are a few that slip under the radar but they can EASILY go somewhere else and see much, much worse. But this would fix it but then again "this is a car forum and not a democracy" but then by that logic half the forum that get's the MOST use and generates the most buzz should be cut right out.
