This is a great intercooler.. Recently installed one and I have no complaints..

Any Gen V's? Looking to get one soon. Basically this is just the core and I need the FMHE, hoses, pump, and gaskets? If so whats recommended? Does the 04+s need the turn down adapter for this IC? Sorry if this has been addresses I'm on tapatalk.

There is a lot of info in the first post, but I do have one intercooler ready to go. I can set it up as Gen 3 or Gen 5 doing the final machining before I ship.

In short here is my recommendations.

The bosch pump is ¾ barbed fittings. The hose and FMHE will be ¾ barbed fittings from frozenboost. The phenolic intercooler is 5/8 but with the fitting and 2 molded hoses from summit racing you convert to ¾ hose.

Hello, I am curious what type of Phenolic material you are using. Is it Bakelite: Made from wood flour and phenolic resin, or is it Novotext, Paxolin, or Tufnol: This type of phenolic resin is reinforced with cotton or linen fibers and is often used in applications as a liner in loaded bearings, because it has low-friction. The reason I ask is because in the 2 videos of yours that I have seen the material looks like and behaves a lot like UHMW: Ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene which also carries decent insulation properties. The reason I ask is just so I am sure exactly what I would be buying.

CNC computer won't boot so phenolic intercoolers are on hold. Retrofit of machine can be very costly so I won't have intercoolers for awhile.

do you know what the typical pulley drop this intercooler will support?

Intercooler expect to jump to 3.4
Add header and exhaust 3.3 to 3.2
Rockers or cam even more

As always nothing beats a good tuner and scan for knock!

I have one.. I dropped from a 3.4 to a 3.0. I added ported heads at the same time, but it's still a good IC.

Doing an XP cam ls1 maf and Northstar setup with Gen V supercharger on my 97 in 2 weeks. Does your inter cooler come ready to bolt to my setup
