About the pan, I went with the same one and mine appeared to have "paint" over the plug making the seal, so when I cracked it open last time it required a plug gasket when I put it back on (leaked from the plug until i put a gasket on it)...

It was a pretty sweet crate, I felt like I should have sold it to someone.
