I didn't see this coming. Any backstory ?
Re: Parting out intercooler 2001 grand prix
Decided to not heed my own advice and ran my 2.55" pully on a 20*f day. Really should have thrown the 2.8" on. Had a guy bet me 200$ I wouldn't beat his 95 camaro. Raced from a dig to 158mph or so. He kept up until around 140. Around 150 I got a flash of red when the kr happened and by the time I let off I knew she chunked at least 3 cylinders. I collected my 200$ and straightened out my spark plugs so it would run on all 6 on the way home. Kept driving it the next few days and #6 kept smashing the plug and the metal on metal noises were getting louder. Finally got to the point that I couldent go into boost without smashing 2 or 3 plugs. Said **** it and set the rev limiter to 9,999 or whatever the max was. Drove down the interstate in 2nd gear until I spun every single rod bearing in the engine. Viking funeral. Drove it 15 miles home with zero oil pressure. Still starts and runs on all 6. Went out and bought a pristine 2002 chevy camaro z28 with 80,000 miles on it and gave the prix one last hug.

You know what they say about GM vehicles, "They'll run poorly longer than most vehicles run at all."

The guy is buying parts that I forgot to sell... it made me laugh when he spotted the poly and just assumed they were still around. He was right.
Re: Parting out intercooler 2001 grand prix
Alright I think I pmed everyone I could. If you were 4th or 5th in line for something like the headers or exhaust I probably didnt PM you but I saved your PM. If I didnt mark an item as pending I probably messed up and missed your message. You should probably get back to me again!
Re: Parting out intercooler 2001 grand prix
Sad day. This was actually a pretty decent car. But you will like the Camaro better, the possibilities with F-Bodies is far far beyond what a wbody could ever dream.

First box shipped out today. Car is going to the shop tomorrow. Going to try to pull some brake lines and suspension bits and the top end of the motor.
