I bought my 02 GTP in August and it already had an aftermarket stereo in it, but I replaced it because a) I needed Bluetooth and b) I like Pioneer decks.
So I'm selling the set up that cam,e with the car. It was all working perfectly when it was removed about a month ago.
Here's the setup;
1. Kenwood XXV-01D 25th anniversary head unit. Full screen graphics, very nice unit. It's discontinued now but sold for $399 when new. Has CD player, supports iPod input and satellite radio, no bluetooth, no front panel inputs. Has input for wired remote and also has wireless remote. ALSO has OEM harness kit, so mno cutting and splicing, just plug it in!
2. SoundGate #Remote3 - enables you to retain steering wheel controls with aftermarket units. My steering wheel controls were working and controlling the Kenwood when I removed the unit.
3. PAC OEM-1 - line level converter enables you to retain the Bose amp if your car is Bose equipped. I can say the Bose OEM system kicks a$$ so worth retaining if you have it. If not, just leave off this adapter.
4. TERK XMDKEN100 - Satellite radio receiver for Kenwood stereos. Comes with multi-pin cable needed to connect it to Kenwood head unit. It will need an antenna. I have never used it but was told it worked when I bought this car in August.
5.PAC OS-1 OnStar interface enables you to retain factory OnStar with aftermarket stereos.
6. American International 432-EX2 faceplate adapter provides the filler needed to install a single DIN unit like the Kenwood in a 1.5 DIN GM opening.
The WHOLE package is for sale for $60 shipped, OBO. (AK, HI, and PR pay higher shipping.)
Unit also has the factory adapters wired on, so it's plug-n-play with the factory wiring. Check your application because it may not be the same as a 2002 Grand Prix.
