Ive got an 03 Pontiac GP SE with the original 3100 all stock besides a large Spectre air filter. Thinking of new cam, crank, rods, rockers, heads, and intake! Would it be smarter to swap to a 3400 or 3800?? if not, what intake is best? And what else needs done during a cam change???

In my opinion, its a 3100, just leave it be, its not worth putting money into.

I would love the swap!! 3800 looks to have more potential and a lot of money will be in this build bit by bit! Does the 38 have a high potential? What ranges could I achieve? Biggest question of all... How damaging is the endless list of parts needed to swap this over?? I've been told many things are different from my se to the 3800 SC!!!

yeah there are definitely any differences. go for the L32 S/C engine. a lot of potential there. ive seen a 6 second gp on youtube so you can get it to be pretty damn fast lol. a 6 second car takes a lot of time and money though u most likely wont do that. put a turbo on that and you will make crazy power gains. that will probly be good enough for ya haha

Does anyone by chance know what mods I will need to fit an L32 model into my existing vehicle? I love the idea and will begin research immediately!!
