I put in my CAI about a week ago and i have a weird noise in my engine now. it almost sounds like an exhaust leak or sort of a chugging but it only happen when in drive and when i get to 2500 to 3000 rmps. after about 3000 rpm it stops. when im in park and rev it it wont do it either. only while driving. i havnt had much time to check it out but i thought id ask on here first. any idea what this might be?

Does your car still drive fine? Any codes thrown? I'm guessing you have a 04 gt.

yeah my car seems to drive fine just has a funny sound to it. and no codes or anything. and yeah its an 04 hah. but i dont think its coming from the cone. i may put my stock air intake in tomorrow to see if it makes a difference.

    Picture or video, please.
Irridium spark plugs last 100k mi and work just as well as copper. Copper is a waste on N/A and only lasts 15k mi. Don't use Platinum.
Use 195* tstat unless you can thoroughly explain why not; 99.9% don't need a lower temp.
Almost any oil filter, ever, is of higher quality than ACDelco. Spend $6+.

Probably guy your not used to hearing the internal clattering of the 3800...and you hear it A LOT more with an aftermarket intake vs. the very quiet factory airbox.

that could be it too. im pretty sure swapping out the stock air box for a cone filter isnt going to do much at all
