top swap means taking the top end of the motor (heads, supercharger, intake, manifolds, and some other stuff, here's a link:http://www.zzperformance.com/grand_p...=382&catid=109 ) from the supercharged gtp motor and installing in on your motor. it's somewhat advantageous over a motor swap because you can make higher compression with the L36 block in the gt's than the L67 block in the gtp's do from the factory. and there is a physical response when you hit the limiter, i believe the motor cuts fuel so your car will nose dive, rpm's will plummet, and you won't be able to go any faster till you drop back down to 105ish.
