If they are spec out for 50 I would get 50. Just to make sure you don't burn up the resistor or anything else

thats what i was thinking.. has anyone else used a different way to install them rather than using those cheap 3M connectors. Looking for something a little more assuring and not so cheap. soldering?

have any pictures of them? idk how you would use butt connectors unless you peeled the plastic off the wires and then pull a little bit of the wire out. you wire in the resisters in parallel right?

Yup, and I just cut the wires and tied the in together, no pics readily available but I'll get some tomorrow and when I mean but connectors I mean the the tubular crimp type coupling connectors. And you wore one lead of the resistor to the common leg and the other to the turn signal 12v power wire

Honestly the easiest way is with a T splice its a little clamp that clamps onto the wire and then on one end is a female spade connector, We can include those along with male spade ends for the resistor if you wish, that way you don't have any exposed wiring and you won't have to worry about it coming loose. I used quick splicers on my tiburon, we can include those too, I've never had an issue.

what he said. have had my switchbacks in my car since oct. 2011 and i've never had an issue. free bump too my replacement HID bulb and some 194 wedge led's are on route to me now. the only non led bulbs left in my car were plate lights so i figured i might as well...
