If I purchased these from you all. Is it easy to install. Or is there modifications that will need to be done to my 06 grand prix gxp

Well I've looked through their part of the forum and there's really not reviews on the 04+ gp HID headlight conversion kits so that's my big thing. New to HID kits and planning on buying within next week or two.

If your getting an hid kit then I would recommend morimoto, for 150 you get an amazing kit and a harness. They are very high quality compared to others

Hey everyone, Just wanted to apologize! As of late we have been experiencing technical issues with the forum notifying us when a post is made on our thread. We are doing everything we can to remedy the situation. Just wanted to let you know that the store front is open 7 days a week so if you ever need to get a hold of us. You are more than welcome to call us at (314) 205 3033. Our HID kits are still top quality and we offer a lifetime warranty with our ballasts and we keep everything in stock right here in the USA, so no more waiting for a HID kit shipping from china. I will personally continue to monitor these threads as best as I can until our technical difficulties are resolved. Thank you for your understanding. It can be quite hectic when we sponsor almost 20 forums.

Thank you for your continued support

    Quick question...

Looking into new HIDs, for my truck, and noticed you offer new "HYLUX" kits, that are 60 dollars more than your Precision kits, currently offered. Curious what, if anything, I'll notice differently by using these? Would also like to know if your HYLUX kits include a lifetime warranty.

    Thanks.

Thats a good question! Our HYLUX premium ballast is a CAN-BUS ballast which means it has a built in warning cancellar to counter act Daytime Running Lights and any other power surges caused by the vehicle. In addition they have a higher efficiency rate of 89% and a lower failure rate of 0.3%. And yes they still have the Lifetime warranty. If you have anymore questions, just let me know!

If I were to but the 9007 kit (2003 GTP Limited Edition) would this just plug into my present housings, and give me HID high AND low beams? Could I also then later put them into a retrofit projector setup? Also, does the $80 include the relay to power the headlights from the battery? How will this affect my DRLs? And lastly, what is the cost to ship to me in Brandon, Manitoba, Canada R7B0R1?

Figured I'd pop in again and say that I've been running my HID kit for quite some time now and it continues to work flawlessly. I too was a bit skeptical at first, but the customer support I got though Paul's crew was much much better than other places I've shopped. I usually get compliments about my lights and I tell people a bit about them then point them in Paul's direction. Would definitely go back to DD if I ever wanted a second HID kit.

Yes, these bulbs just plug into your stock housing, I can't tell you if they would fit into an aftermarket housing, it depends on the housing itself. The relay is included with the price. And yes, the relay directs the power straight from the battery instead of using your factory harness. As long as your DRLs are on a different circuit, they won't be affected, otherwise you will need a warning cancellar. We do ship internationally, It will probaby be around $15 to Canada. If you add the items to our shopping cart and type in your address, the website will give you an exact amount. Let me know if you have any further questions.

Since I have just the single bulb for high and low beam, the DRL's use that bulb, but at something like only half brightness. So I gather I would need the warning canceller? How would this affect my DRLs? would it basically eliminate them, or still allow them to operate? I live in Canada, so I need DRLs.

    Hi,

The difference halogen hi and bixenon is that with a halogen hi bulb the bulb only changes the low beam to HID and the high beam stays halogen (halogen hi). With the Bixenon bulb both the low and hi beam are converted to HID, which this special type of bulb that cost more to produce.

As for the ballasts, the HYLUX has a lower defective rate and more of the waterproofing agent. Both ballasts have a lifetime warranty. We have never had to replace a HYLUX ballast, they are the best money can buy.

As for the pricing, the bixenon bulbs are more expensive to produce, resulting in a higher kit price. The recommended relay is pre-selected, adding $10 to the original $89 price, this can be deselected if you do not need the relay.

Please let me know if you have any other questions,

    Michelle
