im proly making this harder on myself, but if i take a full gallon of the store -20*F washer fluid and take half of it out(half gallon now) and pour the rest with 100% methanol, what is the proportion of water:methanol? the washer fluid is, IIRC, a 30/70 mixture of methyl/water. thanks in advance!!

that will be fine, the pumps can handle 100% methanol without issues.

100% is the only way this stuff makes sense to run unless you run post-blower nozzles.

the blower is heating it up anyway. not saying that it negates the cooling properties completely, but if it is taking away the majority of it then why not just use it for octane purposes? that is what im going for.

i havent gotten to the tuning part yet, hah. i try not to stare at my gauge when im pedal to the floor, but i think it goes down to the low 11s when im hammering on it. when all gets said and done id like to run in the mid to high 11s with no knock.

right now im running an untuned rocker car with a 3.2 with 0 knock because of the meth. i cant say i dislike it.

hmm well right now with 70% meth to water i start out at 11.9-11.5 at part throttle then once i hit 8-9psi the controlle r starts to spray and the afr shoots to ~10.3-10.1

i dont really watch mine that intently. i just watch for knock. i did notice that when i had the controller turned all the way down (turns on almost right away when you boost) that i was getting some pretty nasty part throttle knock. once i turned it up so that it didnt turn on until about 5 or 6 lbs then it went away.

same here i just focus on looking for knock but i have an LS1M scanner i can just log and review afterwards. however i do glance at both scanner and wb when the foots planted to the floor. also what did u meant by turning it down, turning the controller on sooner as well as spraying at full/max psi spray and vice versa?

i think i have it turn on at about 4 psi and fully on by 7 psi. that is where i found that i didnt get part throttle knock.

I have ran water/meth injection thur many of grand prixes. I would not run 100% methanol thur them. running this thur the blower will help cool the intake air temps.
I would recomend that you try running a 50/50 mix and see how it works out.

    nah. i like the octane.

as much as youd like to advise me, i dont think it is beneficial besides the octane through the blower. if i could run if post-blower it wouldnt be as much of a deal to me since the water would help out. i haven't tested it as much as you all, but it seems like the most positive way that i can run it pre-blower.
