    they're recommended due to the fact that there simply are not 'sporty' aftermarket struts for this platform. your other choice would be the KYB AGX, but the only reasoning being is that they're adjustable damping allows you to tune the frequency in which it'll help settle the spring.

    honest, i rode around on GR2/eibach for a long time and it was a pretty stout setup. yes, it bounced a little over larger bumps, but i didn't have coilovers on the car or anything so i couldn't complain.
