yeah. so i put new quick struts on the car all the way around. rock auto. they are the monroe economy struts i believe, not original ride quality.

well, the car looks like its got a lift kit now. is the height adjustable? or is turning that head on top a no no? i know not to loosen it

or, will they settle a bit as the weight is on them?

handles better. feels better than 200K struts and coils.

It won't get any lower, maybe 1/4th in.

They are always like that, welcome to 4x4 gp.

not adjustable. they may settle a bit, but they are new springs and struts. its gonna sit higher then old worn out crap.

I also recently bought 4 Monroe economy struts and all they did was bring the back end level with the front. Front ride height stayed the same.

Just threw KYB quick struts on my car about a week and a half ago. Ride height raised about 2 inches on all 4 corners. It seems like they have settled a little. whether thats my eyes getting used to the 4x4 or they actually have, idk. I haven't measured.

Last week I swapped my SSCS onto new FE3s with new rubber isolators and it raised 1/64 of an inch.
    OK......... maybe a half inch.

Shouldn't we all know what a comfy Monroe ride is? or does by now.

They settled noticeably by the next day. The front ones looked really bad at first because i did those first and the back were so worn so it looked like the car was almost doing a wheelie. The fronts are a little higher still. Car rides and handles much better. Cant wait to get it aligned.
