I'm going to be buying kyb agx struts all around. My main question is where to buy everything from. Also what do i need. For the struts I will be ordering them from parts geek. For lowering springs what should I do? Mounting kits and boots and stuff? Never built a strut if you couldn't tell. Lol

This. If you want to just lower it a little then vogtland springs. I would replace the endlinks as well with Moog's while you are working on the struts.

I would also take the opportunity to change out the CA while your there depending on the condition/mileage of your current ones.

I'm confused. Are you saying to reuse the stock strut?

He means the boot and the foam isolator things from the old strut I think..no.need to buy new ones of those.

Gotcha. Thanks. Is it overkill to get agx?

Ehh debatable.. Some guys will say the excels are just as good and last longer then then agx.. Others will argue against that. Personally I'll give the $200-250 excels a shot first and use what you would of spent on swapping out the front sway for a Dorman and some new control arms.

    You also have this option.

    http://www.grandprixforums.net/threa...-with-KYB-tech

My brother ran these for awhile on his 03 with vogtlands. I posted a review towards the end. He now has AGX's. The AGX's ride a little better.

Sweet. Thanks. If I'm buying agx struts, you said to buy Monroe strut mounts? So I would be buying 4 mounting kits from parts geek?

Then. The grand total with agx, ssc, mount kits, shorter dog bones, engine and tyranny spacers. 840. Sound about right for about 2 inches? Lol

No way. I can't pay $1460 for coilovers. I would love to have them but thats out of my budget. If there was a cheap way to make them myself I would.
