    Here's the details:

    2000 GTP Sedan. 153K miles.
New sway bar end links, outer tie rods, and right hub bearing.

I am hearing a noise that is something between a click and a thunk coming from the right front. It is most pronounced when going from drive to reverse with the wheel all the way to the left. However, it can also be heard with the wheels straight or to the right and going from reverse to drive, just not as loud.

Hoping you guys can help me diagnose so I don't just throw random parts at it. Just what's needed as it's needed.

    Could this be my culprit?

Cool. Well, not cool, but now I know at least. From what I've read, most people say to replace the entire arm and I'm okay with that. Are stock Dorman's the best or is there a stock(ish) upgrade? Think I remember reading something about fleet vehicle arms. Like the Impala taxis or cop cars. Would those be a better, or even feasible option? Not looking for a track car, but the roads here in Tucson super SUCK!

I'm also cool with replacing just the bushings. Time and labor aren't an issue. Money is. Is it worth the savings to do that?

after part by part replacing bad front end parts, it was the lca's that stopped the clunking i had.

i used dorman's they were like 40 a side. moog makes one with a grease able ball joint. its a few bucks more.

check rockauto and partsgeek. or amazon, buying them local is just crazy. they want like 70 a side.

Okay, I found the post about the fleet vehicle arms:

They will fit and look exactly the same as OE ones but have a stronger ball joint and stiffer bushings
Has anyone used these? Can someone confirm they will work on a 2000 GTP?

google the part #'s.....why you need your hand held? lol

this is the left side http://www.amazon.com/Dorman-521-029.../dp/B004AINV3G

you can get the right one on your own. keep searching around on line, see if you can find a better price. these be pricey.

No hand holding needed. Got both part numbers. Found best price. Ready to click purchase....

Visually, they look similar. Just hoping someone would say "Yup, I installed them, They fit." Because it's not a direct replacement, none of the usual "will it fit" guides approve.

Just looking for some community feedback is all.

I think I'm going to give them a shot. Worse case scenario, I'm out the money to ship them back.

    http://www.amazon.com/dp/B004AINV40/...I2BIYWF789GTWN

They're only $10 more per arm than the standard Dorman replacements.

those are good for a impala, so they should fit fine. i searched for a 2000.

Cool. I didn't know if the Impala and GP front suspensions were the same. I suppose it makes sense. Aren't the cradles similar/interchangeable? (Asking just for the sake of knowing)

yup. people take the suspension parts off the cop impalas all the time. rear bars all work too. its all the HD parts. what you ordered should be the same.
