2003 gtp with mustang cobra wheels, i dont have hub centric rings yet for it but i doubt that that should make the car sway as bad as it is. it is very bad.

So at higher speeds like 80 plus the rear end will start swaying from side to side. It seems to be worst when i hit a bump or when i accelerate and then let off or the gas. I pushed the rear end around and looked for anything obvious and didnt notice anything. but i will be putting it on a lift later this week.

It also had an allignment about 2 months ago

IF anyone has any tips or has experenced this id appreciate the help

id check for play in the back wheels. we've seen the back wheels come off with 1/2 the hub still bolted to the wheel. not pretty.

jack each back wheel up, then push and pull the top of the tire, if you feel play that hub is bad. if your abs light is also on good chance a hub is bad too.

Bad tires can do this aswell.

If they are really old, the speed rating is low, not the correct pressure.

    This^^^

Absence of the hub centric rings could cause vibration, but not sway imo. Did you get a before/after printout of alignment? If not old/worn tires then I'd look at suspension and something left untightened when the alignment was done. Could be bad struts too...

    Good Luck!

I think that's it's the hubs the rear tires are both new and everything else seems to be tight. It also seems to be getting worse I'm going to jack it up here soon and check for play

Just I jacked it up and push top to bottom on the wheel and I looked like it had some play on the right rear so I'll probably swap that out first and see if it help. And also my tcs hasnt worked since I owned it (light is on) and the abs doesn't work either (i think the light is burnt out)
