Could i just jack the car up in the rear and put a ubolt around the strut and drill some holes and put the ubolt threw there?

Ok so the cable mod you just put it threw the sway bar bracket, then drill holes in the inner wall of the body to hold the strut down while extended.

Im thinking of just taking a couple long ubolts i have at work that are like 10 inches long. Wrapping it around the strut above the bracket then drilling 2 holes and bolting the ubolts in that way instead of dealing with the lines. Ill try it and see if it will work.

Still not clear on what you are doing. What's this mod do?

    EDIT: Google is my friend.

No, Ubolts are a bad idea because they won't have ANY play and you'll just rip a hole in your body.
