The 05 GXP rotos look like rotors. Why do you think yours look wierd?
very narrow where the pad contacts it and the hat has a recessed area around it
Like scottie said, it sounds like they're a solid rotor instead of finned. Also, they make flat or tapered hats. Either way will be just fine, usually its personal preference on what's used.
No they are finned scotty you won't have a pic of the front side would ya? looking at the one to the right in the back they may be right
damn scotty if those rears were finned it would look like mine, I don't get it the originals oems on my 97 look like the have more surface area, so how are the gxp's better except for the fins of course and thanks
Here is a rear gxp uprade pic. The rotor is vented not solid..sorry I was painting.the rotor hat and edges

Pad area is largely unimportant with disc brakes, its about leverage and cooling. Keep in mind drums have way more pad area. Look at 88-96 gps brakes compared to 97+. 97+ have smaller pads
Scott has pictures..
If I was awake..I wouldn't have GXP pics.. but I have plenty of other pics readily available. Just ask, I likely have a picture of it
A picture of me with with Jessica Alba
A picture of the rear brake drum from a 57 chevy?
