I'm getting ready to change rotors and pads in the rear, along with ss lines all around as part of the fbody swap in the front. I'm gunna take the whole caliper off tonight after work, but I havnt got a chance to look at it yet. How do you remove the brake cable to the caliper? Is there any adjustment needed when I put the new pads in? Never dealt with one this style yet.

No adjustment to the ebrake cable. You have to us a special tool to turn the caliper piston back in. That is all that needs to be done for the new pads to go in. Unhooking the ebrake is either difficult or impossible.

So taking the caliper totally off the car is going to be more trouble than it's worth? Just removing the cable is that big of a pain? One is leaking a tiny bit, so I'm going to have to change it out in the future...
