I've had some noise in my front end lately as well as some play in the front tires when checking the 12&6 and again at 3&9. I just replaced both LCA's and both outer tie rods and when I checked for play, I still have a pretty decent amount of play when grabbing the tires at 12&6. I also seems like 3&9 have a very small amount of play(not completely rock solid like i was expecting). I'm guessing this would be a sign of wheel hubs. Does this sound right or should I check out something else before diving into them?

Forgot to mention, the front right tire had really bad wear on the inside. The rest of the tire was wearing normal but the inside is actually showing threads. Good thing that I'm due for tires but would really like to fix this issue before I get new tires and then wear the hell out of the new tires prematurely.

Oh btw...I'm driving an 04 GTP (all stock)

Replace that bearing, it will get rid of all the movement. If you didnt get an alignment when you replaced the tie rods, you must get one now to stop anymore tire wear.

I didn't get the alignment yet but I was planning on getting one in the next few days. Do you think I should wait until after changing the hubs.

Yeah, do the hubs then get one.

Most shops will check for loose parts prior to doing one, so it best to not having any going in there.

That's what I was leaning toward doing. Now I just have to see how I can remove the passenger side hub because the threads on the axle are so rusted that you don't even see the threads. If I do get it off, I doubt I'll ever get it back on so it looks like ill be replacing the axle as well. I'll probably get Timken hubs but I don't know who has good axles. Any suggestions? Like usual, I'm trying to keep this on the cheap side side all of these parts are adding up.
    Thanks

I don't think you'll have to replace the axle, spray a bunch of rust penatrant on the axle threads and nut.

When the nut comes off it'll clean away the surface rust and it should be good.

My car is 4 years older and from MN and I never have a problem removing them.

I'll keep my fingers crossed. I'm hoping to pick up the hubs this week and get this done next weekend. I'll post if I have any other problems.
    Thanks
