I found out today I have holes in both of my mufflers. The muffler shop I was at doesn't have any sources for these, with the exception of going to a dealership who wants $1500 for the "entire" exhaust. Has anyone else run into this problem or found a source for them?

    Buy some aftermarket mufflers.

Hit up youtube for different muffler setups.

Flowmaster and Magnaflow mufflers will likely be louder, but I think a dynomax style muffler will be close to stock and get it a decent sound to it.

You could just go aftermarket and get a set of mufflers like Magnaflows or something and have a shop weld them into your existing exhaust.

I don't mind, and actually prefer the added growl. Is there a product preference between Magnaflow, Flowmaster, or Borla?

Seems like its more of less what you prefer between the different brands. YouTube is your best best to find something you'll like. Exhaust sounds are based off opinions.

I think borla sounds the best on LS motors, a little more money but they last and sound amazing

I had a 13yr old borla exhaust on my fbody

Ive been medicating with burnouts and alcohol

I had a V8 Taurus SHO and put the hooker aero chamber mufflers on. It sounded really good.
