My understanding is FE3s are preferred, but usually people go with the KYBs because of cost. The FE3 usually would be 100+, hell Rockauto lists them for 120, but if you can get them for that 85 from Amazon, well Bobs your uncle. For what, an additional 50-60$ total over KYB you get a better product and better ride.

Couldn't tell you first hand, haven't used either and so far(fingers crossed) no problem. I don't beat on my car which might make a difference. Every lowering thread I have read would say SPACERS FTW. Thats just one of those "I'll cross that bridge hopefully before it blows up" things.

^^^And, when you lower it the struts don't blow out anywhere near as fast as KYBs do.

For the cost of what you can get the comp g's for off eBay comp > kyb unless there the agx. Now if your talking paying rockauto or dealer pricing the ge2 are more appealing.

true that.... I did mine at 90 with the what the f ever reasoning. When the ride goes south, I'll just pop some new struts in.

Well decided after a quick Inspection of my current fe3s and they look and are nice and tight.. Sooo I skipped the struts for now and bought an inferno front lip.. Pfyc dropped shipping cost and its actually cheaper then the SE lip from dealership at my cost. I'll throw some fe3s or kybs on it down the road sometime.. My car sees a whopping 10-50miles a week

140k on stock struts I would not be lowering it.
