Just had my struts replaced (KYB's in front and rear) and had my car aligned. When I got my car back, it is making a clunking noise when moving the wheel more than 50% of full travel. Almost sounds like metal tubing/rod that is stuck and it vibrates. It only happens during turns.

    Any ideas?

Broken front sway bar? Take a look at the sway where the endlinks bolt to it and see if it is split. Common issue.

Would it still happen when turning the wheel when the car is not moving?

It could. My 00 GT had and end cracked and it would still pop when I turned it sitting still. My noise was from the 2 pieces of the eye at the end of the swaybar popping past each other as the sway flexed.
