Just started about a week ago, but the brake light was coming on once in awhile, especially during acceleration, but now it's reached the point where the only time the light isn't illuminated is under heavy braking. Whether the car is idling, accelerating, or just running steadily, the brake light remains illuminated. It's not causing any issues with the car as far as I can tell, but It gets on my nerves a bit. Anyone know what might be going on?

Brake fluid isn't desperately low, but maybe could use a top-off, I'll see what results that will yield..

Mine wasn't very low either, but it still caused the light to come on

Could be the e-brake. Reach down and jiggle the foot pedal, does the light go off ?
