I guess my big question is are the zz performance springs worth it or would I be better of sticking with my B+G springs?

Is there anyone here running them with the GR-2 or AGX struts that could give me a little feedback?

So here's my thought process. Which would I be better off doing.

Purchase a set of these ZZPerformance - Drop in Strut/Spring Combo #ZZ-DRPSTSP with the GR-2 or AGX struts and be done with it (since they are a complete assembly)

    or

Stick with these springs B+G Sport Lowering Springs: 3800 Performance (which I'm already running) and just buy a set of GR-2 or AGX's by themselves along with the extra parts.

I've already had the B+G springs on the car for 2 years so there is some mileage on them.

I have the equipment available to assemble the spring/struts if I chose to go that route.

    Thoughts?

B&G with AGX struts. Why the ZZP springs in consideration?

I was looking around for the AGX's and saw that ZZP had their own springs. I was just wondering if they are any good or if people liked them. In general which would be a better match the B+G or ZZP with the AGX's

From the little I know, ZZP springs are pretty much SSC springs.

I have ssc springs on agx struts and I'm very happy with that setup.

Ive heard 'zzp' struts, are really just ssc - but I don't know for sure.

They still feel pretty good to me but it has been over a year so It's hard to have a good comparison. I barely remember yesterday.

ssc springs repainted. I like it.

Would the 30k that I have on the B&G be a problem?

Both ZZP and B&G are showing a 1.2 for both front and back. Lower would be better.

    Thanks for the feedback.

30k on springs shouldn't be bad. How do they feel currently to when they were new? You would have the best idea.

I'm riding on B&G w/ Excel-Gs(GR-2s) and really enjoy it. I couldn't justify paying the premium for their drop in combo. I did all around plus alignment, and still came up cheaper. You shouldn't need to worry about the mileage on your springs. The main concern would be your struts, and being lowered they don't last as long. I would say stick with the B&G, and go out and buy some KYB struts. Especially if you have the tools, and means to do it.

    And smile it's Blacktooth Grin!
