I've replaced the struts, the trailing arms, and all the bushings in the lateral links on a 1994 Grand Prix. I see that camber can be adjusted by the positioning of the strut where it attaches to the knuckle, but how is the toe adjusted? It seems toe could be adjusted by the lateral links, but I don't see any way to move them -- they seem to be pretty much non-adjustable. Thanks for any help!

If its got the same stuff as the new cars.

Trailing arms go front to back and lateral arms are side to side, if you understand what I mean.

See the first lateral arm on the left side of the strut, well its the same as a front end ti rod, just crack the lock nut loose and turn it to adjust toe.

Thanks for the reply. The '94 has a different set up. The lateral links are not adjustable like the one in the picture; instead all four of them are a fixed length bar. (Also the car in the picture is evidently a coil spring suspension, but the '94 has a transverse mono-leaf made of fiberglass.)

94 GPs do not have an independent rear suspension with a McPherson strut like our cars do im not sure but it either has a dead axle in the rear or leaf springs but im not sure its been awhile since one came in the shop you dont see to many of those cars anymore

Thanks for the reply. My '94 does have an independent rear suspension. I wrote that the car in the photo from fivefingerdeathpunch was a coil spring suspension but obviously I should have said McPherson strut. My '94 has the trailing arms and the lateral links like the photo and there's a strut that connects the knuckle to the body at the top of the wheel well but it's not a McPherson strut, it's a strut in the sense of being a heavy duty shock absorber that is also part of the alignment system, because it is adjustable where it bolts to the knuckle. The suspension is a transverse leaf spring from knuckle to knuckle (a single leaf made of fiberglass).

Thanks asite57. When I re-did all these rear suspension parts, the only adjustment I saw was for camber where the strut attaches to the knuckle. After I finished the work I took the car to a local shop for an alignment and a set of tires. The car tracked OK as long as the road was dry but as soon as the road got wet at all the car was skating all over the place. It turned out that after 5k miles the rear tires were worn on the inside down to the steel belts as if there was either excessive negative camber or a lot of toe out. I went back to the shop and they told me that the eccentric bolts were missing. I'm thinking what eccentric bolts? As I said the only adjustment I saw was camber at the knuckle and there was no eccentric bolt, just a straight, 5/8" bolt that takes a lot of torque. Do you know anything about an eccentric bolt in the '94 rear suspension?
