So, I've been drooling over these things for years and am finally able to get a set. Any experience? Are they worth the time and money? Should I replace the ball joints and bushings and call it good? Thanks, yall!

The front heim joint was known to fail.

Thus they've started using 4340 joints.

Good to know. Then I'll be replacing the bushings and ball joints, keeping the same unit. Not what I wanted to hear, but thanks.

They are not all created equally.

A local got a set and came over to install them while I was messing with something else. He and another buddy (both more than capable) removed the old ones and tried to install the ZZP's. They didn't fit in the rear mount area. The control arm appeared to be too wide in the area of the bushing and sleeve. After three hours of trying everything we gave up. Being an engineer he measured the ZZP and stock units. There was a large difference in bushing sleeve span. He called in and a customer serviice person measured some, his were indeed too large. Turbo Tim from ZZP told him to remove the bushing, cut the sleeve down and put the bushing back in. Seems that contradicts having them powder coated. He returned them and didn't bother to buy a new set.

Other cars that I have driven with them, rode extremely harshly over the road. Typically all these cars had Vogtland/AGX setups.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

I bought a set during the black friday sale, although didn't do any measuring they do seem like quality pieces. Haven't installed them yet as I'm waiting for spring which is hopefully right around the corner. Putting these on along with my coilover setup and an f-body upgrade, poly mounts.
