on my 04 gtp im looking to do one sway bar right now and one later for handling reasons nothings worn out or broke. Should i do front or rear first, and which sway bar should i use? i was thinking for front progress front sway bar and rear GMPP. what are your thoughts on this?

You generally need 97-03/06-08 lower control arms to run a different front sway. There was a guy that got around it by using c-clamps or something recently. Read up, dude.
If I recall correctly, rear sway has greater bearing on handling.

Is your GTP a Comp G or no? If no then the rear GMPP bar is a good upgrade. Like Slow said, to do the front bar you'll have to grab a set of lower control arms for a 97-03/06+ grand prix with the link mounts on them.

I'd do the rear first, remember that a stiffer rear sway will cause the car to oversteer more, a stiffer front sway bar will cause the car to understeer more.

A bigger rear will make the rear end want to swing out more. It makes it more fun to drive. I did just that on my old focus and it was fun in the curves although i did spin out once when it was wet.

Do the rear bar and just put thicker moog end links on the front. I replaced my front sway with the comp g bar and I couldn't tell any difference in weight for it supposed to being solid. The GMPP rear bar makes the stock one look pathetic.

Rear is more of a factor. Don't like the options available for rear sway but gmpp isn't a bad one.
Dorman front is cheaper than Progress for same 34mm solid.

So the general thoughts are rear GMPP a good choice it sounds like. and someone said thicker end links on the front so thats another thing, what do people think about the end links? zzp is really close to me so ill get everything from there to avoid shipping costs unless really necessary to go somewhere else. GMPP front end links, or the poly ones they sell? or should i just get something from somewhere else?
