Happy (almost) New Year. I have an 06 GT that I am trying to put new front controls arms on. So far I have been unable to pop the ball joint free. What tool or technique has worked for you?

I was worried that a pickle fork would gouge the aluminum. If it worked for you then I'll give it a shot. Thanks

Try hitting it with your purse you sally. (I'm just kidding)

I use a 3lb ” siege” hammer as I like to call it with a pickle fork. Works for me.

Don't even own a pickle fork. Don't need one. As was mentioned by BlackGT97, hitting the knuckle with a hammer at the part where is seats on the ball joint would knock it loose.
