Did you grease the mount bushings and wrap them in teflon tape? There is a write up on here somewhere about doing that. It says it keeps the bushings from tearing, which from what I hear is a common problem with the ones that come with the doorman unit

I just found the thread you are referring to about the tape/grease. I did not do that. I did use dishwashing liquid to help slide the hold down over the bushing once it was in place. Do you think I should go back in and do the grease/teflon trick?
