What is the thickest wheel spacer do you guys think would be the safest to run before having to get longer studs? Right now I'm trying to decide between a 5/16" (8mm) or 7/16" (11mm) spacer. My new wheels are a 45 offset and I want/need some sort of spacer.

10mm is all i would go so you should be good with the 11mm plate.

Thanks that's what I was thinking. I wanted to hear from a wheel guy to be sure. With the 11 mm spacers the wheels will be at about a 34 mm offset. Might have to get a roller.

I know a guy with a proper roller, I'll give that a shot first.

I got some quick shot in the "My Ride" section just to see how the wheels will work out. I'm definitely getting some spacers. Look up the FWD Cobra thread

Yeah, 8mm is going to put them at +37 and thats going to give it a nice stance with the 8" width..

But, its your car.. do what you want.lol

ive seen plenty of people with 20-25mm spacers. i personally would just buy a wheel with the right offset, but if done correctly (LONGER STUDS) you can do it all you want.
