Im new to this and i just threw new struts on my 95 grand prix that i recently purchased and they seemed awfully squishy to me for new struts. is this normal with the leaf spring setup?

Struts just dampen, they don't really support anything. You can usually push them with your hands/weight. Not really an issue.

    What brand did you use?

Thats the other thing. The cheaper the strut, usually the softer the ride.

they ran about $109 a side, i didnt really think about it at the time but i guess it makes sense, since its got the leaf spring in it. just weird considering i just did mine on my 98 and it has the spring on it. my mind tends to wonder a lot during these long work weeks. thanks man
