The car rides rough as all get out. I think I am going to sell the car. My truck doesnt even ride this rough and to think I just dropped right at $800 on the suspension with Eibach Pro Kit & New Struts & Shocks. I did some research on Struts & Shocks & the Monroe Sensa Trac shocks had alot of good feedback, But I am not impressed with them at all. I am thinking I need to put my stock springs back in or get rid of the car all together.

Don't know where you did your research...........but that combination will make the car feel like you've replaced all the suspension with solid steel rod..................

Just a few minutes of searching on this website or others would tell you that eibachs have a great drop but an absolutely horrible ride, and KYB AGX shocks are the only way to go when putting a lowering spring on these cars.

800 bones... damn. You can do KYB GR-2 surround for around 300 shipped. Then figure 200 in springs. 500 bucks.

    $200 Eibachs
    $350 Struts and Shocks Rockauto
$300 labor to install & align

I thought installed with parts was a fair deal. I paid $550 in the parts setup.

Well it rides alot better then it did before. But im going to sell the car I think. Its to rough for me. At least its a sharp looking fast bumpy car

135,000 miles what is a fair price for a 2000 Superchargerd GTP, Has K&N & LS1 Brakes with tinted lights & car is 9-10 exterior & 9-10 Interior. Very clean car. Just want something that rides smoother.

Keep the car and change out the springs again. OEM springs would be great on them struts. Sounds like you could careless about the Eibach drop if your concerned about ride quality.

Monroe struts are soft to begin with. They are not meant for lowering springs. Swap the stock springs and the car will ride smooth. You should have gone with GR2's/excel g's with stock springs. They are much better struts. My brother just did that and his car rides smooth and much better than stock.

Ok going to swap the Stock Springs in & see if this softens the ride up! I like running the 17inch 99 Cobra Rims. But the tires are low profile & make the ride worse. I have been running the stock polished Twisties on the stock tires & havent swapped the Cobra Rims back on the car yet. I can only imagine how rough it would ride on those low profile tires.

Just put the excel g's on my sisters car with stock springs.. Made for a very nice ride, but still feels sporty. Much improved over the worm struts on the car.
