I saw an ad for someone selling a brand new, full set (front and rear) of Monroe reflex sensatrac shocks and struts for $250. The person said to have bought them for over $400 but is willing to part with them for that selling price because his car was wrecked. He got them for his 98 GTP. Does anyone have opinions on this brand and type of shock and strut?

    sensatracs are premium struts.

But the price reduction is due to them being used.

Interesting.... I was wondering if this was a good deal because I would get them to install new sets all around the car after I put some lowering springs on the car. He says that they are brand new and the pics show it still wrapped and in the box.

Pretty sure I just paid $285 for a set of the same struts and front strut mounts shipped, brand new, from RockAuto. Ride and handling is noticeably improved over my well worn stock units.

Thanks for all of the advice. I will consider the sale but not plunge into it right away.
