I'm going to install 4 new GR-2's on my 06 GP next weekend. I plan to re-use all of the existing isolators, pads, springs, etc, except that I will have new strut mounts. My question is: Do I need to install camber bolts while I'm installing the struts for when I go to get a 4-wheel alignment? Keep in mind that it is not being lowered. I'm sticking with the stock springs as they are in good shape (no rust or ass sag).
    TIA

I pretty sure that the allignment shop can get the car within spec with the parts you are gunna use. Camber bolts are not really needed.

Let me be frank and say.... most guys don't do much for an alignment....

they get your toe in spec and call it a day.

Unless of course your camber is 0.5* or more off. But by that I mean lets say the range is 0.9 to 1.6 and the ideal is 1.2.

They wont really be concerned until you're around 1.8-2.0.

    Depends on the tech.

If you want it precise then install the bolts and find a shop that specializes in alignments.

Thanks, those were the answers that I wanted to hear. I really didn't think they would be necessary with such a slight change in the suspension dynamics and stock ride height.
