I spoke with an engineer from stop tech (centric parts) and tried to find a rear rotor that would work with the rear Brembos calipers, and was unsuccessful...however the call was not a total loss because he looked at some data and after telling him the known rear caliper options for the car, he recommended the C5 or V8 F-Body (identical) rear brakes to best match the Brembos up front. He added that the difference would be minimal, but noticable especially with big wheels, on a FWD car but that the extra stopping power in back would be safe (as in not cause oversteer) because of how much stopping power the Brembos provide up front.

I looked into it and for both rear calipers and the GXP caliper brackets is under $100

Dave, when you ran cts-v brakes with 18 inch rims what rims were they? I am still trying to find an oem rim that will fit these brakes.

Nice, where did you order the rest of the rims from?

Could you also post pictures of the rim and brake combo looks on the car from a distance?

I would so do the CTS-V's if they would clear my GTX wheels, but they sadly won't.

At least do the 97-03 swap. Balance the brakes out a little.

So, dont know if I ever will do this upgrade since I still race my car. Its really really tempting since they would look so sic behind my wheels.

But out of curiosity. Are the STS V and CTS V Brembos the same?
What about the 2010+ Camaro Brembos. I'e read on LS1tech some people have used those with 2010 Camaro rotors.
98 GTP-Mods? Yeah, lots of them
2009 HEMI RAM- Mods are in the works!!
