Im hearing this noise whenever I go over 60-70 mph in the front right tire. Its like a loud humming kinda growling noise, almost like the sound of the jake brake on a semi. Now would this be a bearing issue? Or something like a ball joint?

    Thanks in advanced!

Sounds like your CV joint has some bad bearings.

Ball joint would make a clunk when you turn the wheel or hit a bump.

Sounds like your wheel bearing needs to be replaced. I would def replace both sides too depending on your vehicles mileage but you don't have to.

I've replaced many wheel bearing with less than 100k on then so 120k isn't to bad especially if you drive it kinda hard.

yeah put your car on a jack and shake the wheel from side to side. and if someone else is with you then have them look at the back of the steering knuckle. if there is movement when you shake it side to side then its more then likely the wheel hub. To rule out the tie rod feel the tie rod with one hand and shake the tire. if you feel play in it then thats bad if not then its ruled out. but from personal experience if you hear a grinding noise its probably the wheel hub.
