Answered my question about doing the GP GXP front upgrade.
Hell yes it is. Ctsv>c5>gxp>fbody>>>>stock
what? c5 provides less braking force than gxp's. they even provide less than f videos bodies.
but c5 uses a better caliper than f body. also closer to factory brake bias.
c5 are lighter than gxp's.
I have ridden in both vehicles. My car (c5) and a gxp swapped gt. The gxp swap is a lot softer, at least in my opinion. And my car beats his 60 to zero by a solid ten feet everytime
C5's have smaller pots than GXP's.
Closer to stock than the GXP, but still larger than stock.
What about upgrading the rear brakes with those from a Grand Am? I know I saw someone mention it but can't find the thread.
****Nevermind*** Found it, not interested.

On my 04 GTP Comp G, will the GXP setup clear my stock wheels?
^iirc yes
^ Thanks.
So I just read on another thread that I can't use stock rims with a 12" rotor upgrade. Is this true? 02 gtp with shiny stars? (Lol sorry I don't know technica name for that rim)
its only the lattice/crosslace wheels you can't.
those are on like the 97-99 grand prixs right?
Yup. They look like the pre-gen crosslace, but have a slight twist to them.
So i didnt read through all 11 pages here, but i have the 13 inch set up. I bought it as a kit with new rotots and the google search on the part number came back for a buick lucern or a cadi dts. An image search on the buicks looked just like what recieved. So i am pretty sure thats what they are
then its not 13".
that's what the part number came back as when i google searched it for the rotor......... the rotor is much bigger than my old set up........
