hey guys, when a rack goes bad what usually happenes, cause my car will not turn to the left sometimes. when both tires are on the ground it sometimes gets hard and sometimes doesnt. its not like a gets hard then releases is turns equally hard all the way when it does. then if i jack up the passenger side leaving all the pressure on the left side it doesnt do it at all to the left. please help
if it was a sticky valve in the rack wouldnt it do it when i put all the pressure on that side. really it only when both tires are on the ground.
here is somethings that are wrong with the car that i dont know if it has any effect on it.
drivers side lower control arm front bushing is under the control arm pressing the front of the arm up and flat. And i think both struts are shot because the passenger stut bounces 6-7 times, and the drivers side strut mount where the nut under the hood is, it is off center. thanks for any help.
