    Likely cheap pads didn't have shims on the back. If you didn't use something goopy/sticky like disc brake quiet to spray the back of the pads and stick them in place, that could do it. Or really cheap pads..
    I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

    This is my guess. If the cheap pads don't have a damping pad on the back, you will need to apply some anti squeal compound to the back of the pads. Without the damping material, expect it to squeal like a pig.
