Check summit. They have the sway GMPP sway bars as well. As far as I know the the only part discontinued are the trailing arms.

yep --- which makes the part number you tossed out earlier irrelevant because the arms were part of that set..... though there's lots of options to get around that pesky problem.

Performance handling kit pk12456148. $130.00 on gmpartsdirect. Well worth the money. That was a more noticeable improvement in handling then my struts/springs were.

2002 GTP: GMPP Sway Bars, BMR trailing arms, KYB AGX/Vogtlands, 12" brake upgrade
    Modified SSAC headers, K&N Intake, 3.4 MPS, S1X, Gen V, 104's, HPTuned.

Front and rear sway bars, bushings for both, end links for the fronts and a front strut tower brace. I bought urethane bushings and end links for the front to replace the rubber ones GM supplies.

Not true. It's still relavent. You just won't get the trailing arms. You will get the front and rear sways and the strut bar.

    GM PART # pk12456148
    CATEGORY: All
    PACK QTY: 1
    CORE CHARGE: $0.00
    GM LIST: $212.16
    OUR PRICE: $130.00

DESCRIPTION: Grand Prix, Monte Carlo and Impala Handling Upgrade Kit

This suspension kit is intended to reduce body roll and chassis flex while enhancing cornering capabilities.

Kit is for use on 1997-2003 Pontiac Grand Prix and 2000-2005 Chevrolet Impala and Monte Carlo. Handling Kit inlcudes all hardware and bushings to replace existing sway bars and to add the strut tower brace, and consist of:

P/N 12498642 Heavy Duty Rear Sway Bar w/insulators

P/N 12498643 Heavy Duty Front Sway Bar w/insulator and end links

    P/N 12456148 Strut Tower Brace.

An additional strut brace P/N 12456148 can be ordered for rear strut tower, but is a labor intensive installation.

(If you are adding this to a vehicle that does not have a rear sway bar from the factory you will have to modify the brackets in order to install this rear sway bar.)

We sell only new parts at GmPartsDirect.com but unfortunately GM does not use any packaging material when GM ships us the sway bars, so the sway bars may have small scratches or scuffs before we receive the sway bars. We do inspect the sway bars when we receive them from GM for major scratches or scuffs and before shipment. If you are looking for a perfect set of sway bars without any scuffs or scratches, we are unable to provide perfect sway bars. Sorry for any inconvenience.
