well, I buy my drilled slotted rotors from R1 concepts. their blank rotors are much cheaper. You might try rockauto.com for some cheaper ones? I love my rotors.

as far as pads, just get some ceramic ones. I've had bad luck with semi-metallics screaching and ruining my rotors. I use Posi-Quiet pads as they are quiet and do not produce much brake dust. Based on your budget, i wouldnt recommend getting EBC or Hawk pads even though they have great bite. I'm sure the brands from oreilys arent bad, ive never tried them

Go to rockauto.com and grab some Centric premium rotors and the better Monroe ceramic pads. I have put them on a few other peoples cars who didn't want to go high end and they have been happy with them.

Cut him some slack you guys. I'm sure all of us have misspelled a word at some point in our lives.

As far as the rotors, I'm wary of buying any car parts off of ebay unless they specifically list the manufacturer and I know it is quality. There is so much crap on ebay. If you have that much to spend on rotors, I would get some EBC redstuff pads and some smooth rotors like Centric premium. I'm using that on my car right now and I'm very happy with them. Better pads will improve your braking. Those rotors are just eye candy for street use.

centric premium rotors + EBC Red stuff or Hawk HPS pads.

    Won't regret it either one.

Red stuff made my ****ty brakes quite impressive really.

It all comes down to personal preference, but I've run Hawk and EBC redstuff and I would choose EBC over the Hawk without a doubt.

you are forgetting the man is on a budget. hawk pads are twice as much or more than other pads.

That's what he said, but then posted a link to some pricy ebay rotors. That's why I suggested he spend the extra on very good pads instead of pretty rotors.

i wouldnt use EBC Red on a non-cryo treated rotor. Red stuff is pretty damn harsh on the rotors.

I'm running red stuff on two different cars without cryo treated rotors and not seeing any excessive rotor wear. What is the source of your info if you don't mind me asking?

Just hit up Napa, Autozone, Advance, O'reilly's. You can pick up their ceramic sets for a great price and most of them have lifetime replacement.
    No More GTP for me.
