Well I am no fan of drilled rotors. Slotted are okay as it serves a function. But I have seen the drilling cause stress fractures.

same here, drilling is for looks, and causes a stress riser unless chamfered. For things that involve saving my life and my families lives I buy from people I can trust, never would I buy a brake part off ebay, if something happens your screwed as they don't have liability insurance like a legitimate company does

you must realize that 99% of the "companies" on ebay are guys in their basements, there is a reason that a bunch of companies are putting disclaimers on their websites telling you if it came from ebay it has no warranty. I don't buy brake parts from summit usually either simply because I don't like the prices and I refuse to wait for parts I can buy local for the same amount or less

You know you are probably right about the basement thing....but just from my personal experience i have never seen a brake part actually fail...as far as a rotor goes...i'm not saying it is not impossible...Generally these basement company's are using the same equipment to drill and slot these rotors as powerslot ect... are.....I guess in the end you get what you pay for lol

they don't make them, I can buy rotors for next to nothing from china, and I have seen some fail catastrophically (as in disintegrate from a hard stop then hitting a puddle) the drilled rotors crack very often, the problem is few shadetrees look at the rotor surface when doing brakes
