I agree, if you can buy direct from the manufacturer, why not?

why whats wrong with intense? bad experience?
Re: Want to lower your car? Look in here!!
Few things here and there...
Regardless they use stock mounts, Held's use proper mounts.
Re: Want to lower your car? Look in here!!
stock mounts are nice if youre looking for something quieter and nicer feeling. pillow ball mounts transmit a lot of road noise and once the bearings in them let go they clunk like a mofo.

ZZPs = Held's Buy directly from HELD, they make the coilovers, they let you pick your spring rate
Re: Want to lower your car? Look in here!!
What are your guys' thoughts on DNA springs with GR-2 struts?
Re: Want to lower your car? Look in here!!
Ik but so cheap compared to eibachs, and they claim the same lowering
Re: Want to lower your car? Look in here!!
I have yet to hear or see anything bad about the DNA's. I dont see why GR-2's and DNA springs would not be fine.
Drunkie them wheels look way better! For a second when I heard about new wheels I was iffy about that idea.

the ride gets worse the lower you go.
after looking at all the pictures of lowered grand prixs i think i would at least want eibachs or even the intrax springs. The other ones hardly look lowered to me? What are your thoughts on this?
Re: Want to lower your car? Look in here!!
i agree with you. SSC springs are the least i would do. vogtland/DNA springs are a 100% waste of money to me.

If your close to 200 000km like me and dont want to go much lower then stock and want new springs and struts for cheap I dont see why not. im sure its 10x better then riding on all old stock springs and struts(maybe even blown struts) that are 10+ years old.
Re: Want to lower your car? Look in here!!
so i noticed that in your pictures drunkie, the bearing is inbetween the spring and the gold adjuster? the way mine came in the mail, the bearing was inbetween the spring and the bushing at the top?? is this a problem and is there an easy way to fix it?
and about the vibration upon acceleration, is this a problem that can cause damage or is it mostly just annoying?

then get quickstruts and be done, because dna's arent gonna be much lower than your blown struts and sagged springs.
Re: Want to lower your car? Look in here!!
ya I guess im in the wrong thread lol, cause I dont want to really be much lower just want everything new on the cheap. So ths would be a good option for me
